'I became increasingly aware of how much of what we see is shaped by assumption — how quickly things are named, understood, and dismissed.

At the same time, the reality we exist within — vast, intricate, and often unfamiliar when properly observed — is largely overlooked.

My work sits in that gap.

It begins with what is already here, but shifts the conditions under which it is seen.

By altering scale colour and perspective, familiar subjects are encountered differently — not as something known, but as something newly visible.

What once felt ordinary becomes strange.
What once felt small becomes significant.

Not because it has changed, but because perception has.

This is the focus of my work:
not to create something new, but to reveal what was always present — and allow it to be seen properly.'
